With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Dr. Luis Vásquez, which occurred today, Saturday, May 2, 2026, in the United States. His remains will be cremated in Chicago and subsequently transported to Yantaló, where they will be scattered alongside those of his mother at the "Red Stone" of the Yantaló Clinic—his greatest life's work—just as he always wished.
Dr. Vásquez will be remembered for his invaluable work, his unwavering commitment, and his vocation for service dedicated to the health and education of our beloved District of Yantaló. His tireless dedication, his profound humanity, and his devotion to every patient have left an indelible mark on our community.
Today, we express our most sincere gratitude for all his years of effort, for every life he touched, and for his constant willingness to serve with nobility and professionalism. We offer our prayers for his eternal rest and extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Con profundo pesar, comunicamos el sensible fallecimiento del Dr. Luis Vásquez, ocurrido hoy sábado 02 de mayo del 2026, en los Estados Unidos. Sus restos serán cremados en Chicago para luego ser trasladados a Yantaló y sean esparcidas junto a su madre en la piedra roja de la Clínica Yantaló su gran obra, como él siempre lo quiso.
El Dr. Vásquez será recordado por su invaluable labor, compromiso y vocación de servicio en favor de la salud y educación de nuestro querido Distrito de Yantaló. Su dedicación incansable, su calidad humana y su entrega a cada paciente dejaron una huella imborrable en nuestra comunidad.
